Before I finish this series, let me say, “If I have left anything out or you know of any other way to boost traffic quickly, then please share with the audience/readers by leaving a comment below”.
I covered placing a comment on other blogs, subscribing to those blogs’ RSS feeds, and joining a couple of forums in part 1 series, pinging a blog & using RSS feed in part 2 series, StumbleUpon in part 3 series, and Twitter in part 4 series. In this last series, I am going to talk about the Onlywire.
8- Onlywire
It is a social bookmarking service that allows you to submit your page or blog to multiple social networking sites, such as facebook, in just a click of a mouse. You can have your blog get more exposure, more traffic to your site, on top of saving time of submission.
How to get that service
Step 1. Click the here to sign up for an account with OnlyWire. Select your membership: free or paid membership. For free membership you have to place a code on your website or blog, but the paid membership has to pay $2.99 per month and do not bother with the code.
Step 2. Set up an account with each social networking and bookmarking sites in OnlyWire. Currently, there are 33 sites that you can submit contents to. Go to each site open an account first before you enter the usernames and passwords you use on each site and click “Save My Logins”, Then tick off the test post so you can check if it is working and no problems with the information you provided.
Step 3. From the OnlyWire homepage, click “Tools” and then “Browser Tools”. Install the Browser button on your internet browser to make it easier to submit. Choose the add-on that corresponds to your internet browser and follow the installation. You should now have the OnlyWire button toolbars after the installation is done.
Step 4. Go to the web page or content that you want to share. Click on the OnlyWire button on your browser and choose “Bookmark & Share”. “Frames” option simply shows you the web page at the bottom while “No Frames” option only shows the list of sites to share. Just fill in the tags and the notes then hit “Bookmark”. It usually takes a few minutes before you receive an email notification on the status of a submission. That’s all to it!
Note: For every submission, you need to check the status because sometimes they fail or require finalization because of the captcha verification code on the site. OnlyWire will save you a lot of time and will increase your page views and search engine ranking. It is quite a powerful tool for publishers, bloggers, and webmasters to syndicate contents to multiple social networking sites.
